Perspective

We know that our bodies are systems unto themselves that have internal currents of change.  It is also no secret that life is always challenging us to change. Therefore, another aspect of health is learning to harness our ancient ability of adaptation.  Learning to flow with change provides a tremendous advantage in this day and age.

It begins by learning to change your perspective.  This powerful life altering experience is based upon knowing that whatever you think you know about life is always incomplete.

The majority of information that reaches our minds is collected by our sense of sight, taste, touch, smell and feel.  Our senses receive a tremendous amount of information moment-by-moment however; our ability to process this information is limited.

Limitations exist due to deep seeded illusionary: thoughts, concepts or beliefs about reality based upon previous experiences.  It is often easier to label events in order to feel safe or to be secure in being “right” rather than remain open. With incomplete knowledge, premature conclusions about life are tempting to create.  From these conclusions behaviors are created, practiced and mastered.   Until the opportunity for changing one’s perspective meets with walls of irresistible habit.  Change then becomes an almost impossible possibility.

With new perspective comes the possibility of new choices, new behaviors, new vision and new experiences.  For deep within each of us is a profound connection to the Truth of Life.  It is contained in the cells of our bodies that have been cultivated by millions of years of evolution.

Harnessing the power of evolution requires a refusal to make rigid conclusions about life. It requires a commitment to seeing reality as it is and not as you want it to be.  As your perspective shifts you move closer to knowing this Truth and this creates peace and understanding within.

Once your eyes are opened, life can never be the same.
